Most pedicure designs fall into three groups. One colour on every toe, which is the classic: red, nude, wine and the brights that suit sandals. A finish, such as chrome, cat eye or an ombre fade, which is done in gel. And a plain base with something small on the big toes only, a flower, a heart, a few dots, glitter or foil, which is the easy way to have a design on short nails.
